Abstract:	本計畫主要探討台灣西南海域高屏海底峽谷在早期前陸盆地沈積過程中所扮演的角色。研究台灣造山帶沈積物輸送到馬尼拉海溝過程中，河流沈積物傳輸到高屏海底峽谷的輸送機制。颱風季節高屏溪供應大量沈積物進入高屏海底峽谷，長時期侵蝕海床以及高密度沈積物堆積形成濁流沈積物，可藉由震測相分析獲得峽谷周圍水平反射層與混亂震測相，表層水平反射震測相顯示高密度流的沈積層，底層混亂震測相反應崩塌與滑動的經歷。本研究計畫擬以淺層反射震測資料、巖心取樣以及 Chirp 聲納的比對，來分析造山帶沈積物輸送的過程與模式。研究航次作業時期資源有效運用與分享，研究的結果預計能對整合計畫有所貢獻並更深入瞭解高屏河海系統沈積物輸送模式。;計畫編號:NSC94-2611-M164-001;研究期間:200508~200607
