Abstract:	東京晴空塔的最大作用是地面數位播放，雖然從2003年12月開始，在關東地區已開始地面數位播放，但是在電波的傳送方面，因為可能會受到東京都市中心林立的200公尺的超高層大樓的影響。因此，希望從600公尺級的新高塔傳送電波。如果向到600公尺級的新高塔过渡，因為地面數位播放的發送高度將達到目前的2倍，隨著能夠對逐年增加的超高層大樓的影響而提出建議，人們也期待從2006年4月開始的朝向移動式終端機的數位播放服務“ONE SEGMENT ”的區域擴大。另外，人們也期待在發生災害時，發揮作為防災功能的高塔的作用。
