Abstract:	人為什麼要自殺?又為什麼被逼到自殺呢? 觀察日本近20年自殺率的變化，發現平成10年以後，連續第14年超過3萬人自殺。也就是說，已經嚴重到一天平均就有80人自殺。那麼，為何日本的自殺人數如此頻繁呢?而這光榮的背後又藏著什麼樣的秘密呢? 我們從年代、男女、月份、職業、年齡層以及和國際間自殺率的比較來探討各式各樣的自殺現象。另一方面，以日本為借鏡的台灣，面臨這樣的危機時又該如何採取對策呢?值得我們深入探討
