摘要: In certain hyperthermia and/or non-destructive-inspection, it is desirable to gain the knowledge of ultrasonic field distribution insider a scatterer. Since field distribution plays an extremely important role in the success of such study; much work of scattered ultrasonic field is carrying out by FEM or FDM, but internal field of a scatterer has not been investigated extensively due to the boundary. Others had been confined to simple layered homogeneous caterer. In this study, we therefore seek to relax the restriction commonly made on the scatterer and propose a novel approach to avoid the singularity. Dyadic Green’s function is the starting point with the forward scattering for ultrasonic evaluation, the decompose it into incident and scattered fields if interest. Nevertheless, an inhomogeneous medium with arbitrary dimension embedded in the homogeneous background is considered.
Implementing the transform matrix with this derived model, some quantitative simulations are performed to evaluate the ultrasonic wave field intensity and thermal profile. Detail application range is also discussed and commented. In the future, we hope this research can be continuously applied and its achievement will be more helpful on medical application.
