Abstract:	尌傳統的學習而言，在學校所學習到的通常是屬於理論方面的知識，即將面臨尌業問題的我們未來在職場上是否能將學習到的知識運用自如，「經驗」便是很重要的一個關鍵。國立自然科學博物館肩負傳統自然歷史博物館之任務，對自然物與人類學遺物進行收藏與研究。最近若干年來，致力於台灣的生物多樣性調查與維護。展示的內容再強調「人與自然」的觀念，藉以教育社會大眾自各個角度去了解人類，了解人與自然互相依存的關係，提升國人科學知識的水準。在新的時代，努力成為東亞地區最重要的自然科學博物館，再往國際一流博物館的目標推進。
