Abstract:	所謂的地獄，因為高溫源源不斷的噴出霧氣的景象有如火山爆發，加上泉溫高達100度左右，這樣的環境，不適合人居住，別府居民便將它取名為「地獄」。周遊別府地獄，把位於大分縣別府市呈現多數存在奇觀的自然湧出的源泉「地獄」觀光名勝化，並為環繞別府溫泉的定期觀光巴士等的觀光基本路線。別府地獄擁有的地域特質，融入別府溫泉鄉的湯文化，搭配各地獄的特殊景觀與特色商品、觀光巴士的周遊行程，加上別府本身充足的溫泉資源，結合為「能泡、能玩、能欣賞」的賣點，吸引日本各地與海外的觀光客前往。帶動別府地獄的觀光熱潮，因而擁有了獨特的觀光價值。
