Abstract:	本研究定性探討羧甲基纖維素以棉花及單氯乙酸鈉的乙醇水溶液之製造，其反應需要經過20%以上的NaOH溶液浸泡才能有效果，浸泡的時間為4小時以上最佳，醚化反應的時間依醚化劑的添加量而異，醚化的溫度在50℃。鹼比及液比分別為8:1及20:1最佳。攪拌的頻率在非均相的反應中是影響反應的重要因素。不同的纖維原料均可進行醚化反應，其含有非纖維之雜質會影響成品的品質。
