Abstract: 本創作提出一種新穎的裝置用以檢測塑膠顆粒(polymer pellets)的熔解過程(melting process),其係由一超音波傳感器(ultrasonic transducer)(1)、導波管(wave guide probe)(2)所組成,可裝置在配備有攪拌棒(mixing rotator blade)(3)之密煉機(internal mixer)或擠出機(extruder)上。該具測量裝置的導波管係具有螺牙(thread)(6)與冷卻裝置(cooling equipement)(5)的超音波導管,螺牙的形狀與一般的壓力及溫度感測器(pressure/temperature sensor)相同,而能直接固定到密煉機或擠出機上,因此不需要對密煉機或擠出機再作任何加工;而冷卻裝置主要是用來冷卻藉導波管,由熔解的液體(melted polymer liquid)或加熱室(mixing chamber)(4)所傳來的熱,使得常溫的超音波傳感器不至燒燬;而攪拌棒的攪拌頭(mixing head)(8)可以是一般的多種型態。這個檢測裝置使得常溫的超音波傳感器可以被用來觀察高溫(high temperature)環境下的塑膠顆粒熔解過程,並且不需要再對設備進行任何加工,可有效地降低設備成本。
