Abstract:	方鎖，是一種三軸組合的積木，相傳是由中國的魯班所設計。本專題從導入機械領域中公差的觀念來設計製作二十四方鎖，從組裝過程中驗證零件的互換性來探討所定義公差範圍的適切性。首先設計好方鎖概念圖後，選用材料是壓克力並在實習工廠進行裁切，之後使用傳統式铣床進行加工，完成好的零件組用水砂紙和鑽石銼刀進行修飾，工件完成品管量測、紀錄及分析後進行組裝，並用不同顏色油性筆來區分工件，以作為組裝驗證互換性之用。結果顯示有些工件上的尺寸公差範圍可以放大一些，以降低製作成本。
