Abstract:	PLC在國內外已廣泛應用於各個行業中，它不但能取代傳統的繼電器迴路，能實現邏輯控制、順序控制，既可用於單台設備的控制，也可用於多機群控及自動化流水線等。而傳統的PLC 受限於實體I/O 點為限制，且增加實體接點不易，配線也易於零亂，加上物聯網、雲端計算等技術正影響著各行各業，可以讓所有自動化設備通過網路連接，讓每一個生產製程都清晰可見。西門子更領先業界以自行製造的PLC，作為業界之工廠的基礎，延伸出不同的介面與應用，開發出一種通信技術叫I/O Link。
