簡介：
本系以培養學生具備觀光遊憩產業之專業技能與管理知識為宗旨，課程設計上以旅行業管理與渡假村管理為主軸，輔以博弈事業經營管理與實務訓練課程，是中部地區大學院校首創，具有相當特色與發展願景。在發展上更配合行政院六大新興產業發展政策以及台灣中部地區國際觀光發展之趨勢，結合中部地區觀光遊憩產業，強化策略聯盟與實習合作，培訓具專業知識技能與國際觀的優秀人才。
The educational object of the department is to teach the student to have the professional skill and management knowledge of tourism and recreation. The plan of curriculum project takes both the tourism management and resort management as the main scheme, auxiliary by casino management and training program. This is the forerunner between colleges and universities of middle Taiwan. It stands out the quite characteristic and developmental prospect of our department. The future development of the department also coordinates with the government policy of six rising industry and the growing tendency of international tourism in middle Taiwan. We continually strengthen the strategy alliance and the practical training with the tourism and recreation industry in order to cultivate the outstanding talent with the specialized knowledge skill and the global perspective.
