工管系主要培育具設計、改善、建置之學識與技能的中、高階管理專業人才,能整合人員、物料、設備、能源與資訊等資源,開創符合人性且高效率之自動化作業環境,以提昇組織決策力與生產力。課程涵蓋工業工程與管理之自動化、電腦化、人性化、精實生產、製商整合等多重領域,強調創意思考、系統整合、實務專題研究與製作能力,使之具備運籌帷幄之決策能力。 精實生產管理研究所係由工業工程與管理系為基石而生,培育精實製造、精實服務、精實創新等碩士人才。 鑑於全球化產業技術競爭激烈,各工商業體莫不致力於自身原有的核心技術的再創新與生產客服後勤維護之全球性佈局發展。因此,藉由精實生產管理系統以降低產品或服務成本。本所之發展方向規劃為二大領域:(一)工程領域;(二)管理領域。本所之特色為:(一)因應社會變遷及職場需求,降低成本、減少浪費,發展具前瞻性、實務性的課程;(二)整合跨校性相關設備及資源,從事跨領域之價值創新及價值完美等研究工作及人才培訓。
The Department offers educational programs in industrial engineering and management. The goal is to educate students with the knowledge and skills to become middle and high-level professional managers. Departmental courses are for automation, computerization, human management, Lean production, integration of Manufacturing and Commerce. These include an emphasis on creative thinking, system integration, practical project research, and decision making abilities. Students are able to integrate people, material, equipment, energy and information within an automated operating environment, and promote efficiency and productivity. Our development direction is divided into engineering area and management area. The characteristics are: (1) to meet the demand of society change and job market, lower cost, reduce waste, and develop innovative and practical research school; (2) to integrate cross-school related equipments and resources, and create cross area value innovation, and perfect value research and talent development.
